He had some really cool balloons waiting for him when he woke up. Dad picked them out. We had to wait for everyone to get home before we could open presents. News from Santaquin, UT. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. 15 on the 15th of 2015! It was an extra "golden" birthday for Erica. (According to Anslin your golden birthday is when your age is the same number as the day you were born. Erica's was extra special because the year is the same too. Of course, that is bound to happen when you are born in the year 2000.). Erica received a jean jacket, CTR ring, Hank Smith CD, money from Grandpa and Grandma Elder, and fancy hair stuff. The Christmas season was good for us.

News from Santaquin, UT. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Erica is now officially a teenager. She has enjoyed being in Young Women's this year and earned her Knowledge ribbon already. For her birthday she got a camera and a kite. She has been asking for her own camera for awhile and was glad to get it. We had oreo ice cream cake with oreos, ice cream, caramel and whip cream. News from Santaquin, UT. Sunday, July 12, 2015. Cherilyn celebrated her birthday as an adult: working like any another day. Her coworkers decorated her desk, and each wrote on a card for her. She was pleasantly surprised by that. She is working at BYU in the Hinckley building. She mostly updates addresses for the BYU alumni magazine. Cherilyn recently decided to major in pre-nursing. She is excited to be in a field where she will able to help people. When will Allison be home? When will Dad be home?

Cherilyn had just finished her second semester at BYU, and we pulled the other kids out of 7 days of school. We gratefully accepted Michael and Candy's hospitality again and stayed at their home. News from Santaquin, UT. Friday, October 5, 2012. Back to School 2012. Cherilyn entered 11th grade, her Junior year. Allison, 9th grade, the BWOC at the junior high. Erica is in 6th grade with Mrs. Pando. It is her last year at elementary school. Ethan is in 3rd grade with Mrs. Bosen. Eli started all-day school this year as a first grader in Mrs. Nilson's class.
