A third of people under the age of 35 have experienced ringing in the ears. After listening to loud music. This is a sign of hearing damage. 58% of 16 to 30 year olds are completely unaware of any risk. To their hearing from MP3 players. 66% of MP3 users are listening to music at louder than 85 decibels,. Which can cause permanent damage to hearing over time. Over 20% of people were listening at levels in excess of 100dB,. Which is recognised to cause damage to hearing after just 15 mins per day.

Almost 350 students have participated in the campaign from schools in counties Dublin, Mayo, Roscommon, Galway, Kerry and Louth! Today, March 3rd is the World Health Organisation’s International Ear Care Day. Church is more than just a building - Home

Unfortunately St. Peter's school closed in June of 2006. We are going to leave this site up as a testimony to the great school that St. Peter's was. The school tour. Will stay up, as will our counter- proposal. As that represented an amazing effort put forth by a dedicated group of parents, staff and alumni, on a very short deadline.
