Wisconsin Farmgirl: January 2010
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 21, 2010. We were in a little accident last night. No one was hurt, no damage to the car. I am still amazed at both those things! Gabi, Aidan and I were heading into town. We were late. I was rushing. We headed up Rudolph Rd. toward Hamilton. There is a stop sign one block south of Hamilton. We stopped, then proceeded, and half way through that block someone coming toward me turned to cross my lane right in front of me! It didn't happen. I don't know how, but it didn't happen! The last ...

Wisconsin Farmgirl: August 2009
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. There is a whole lot of crowing going on around here these days! All but two of the roosters have found their voices. Right this minute as I am typing I can hear somebody cock-a-doodle-ing! The boys have all filled out nicely too. They look beautiful with full tail feathers, mature combs and wattles. All of these outward signs point to an inward truth.the boys have become MEN! From the left again! The results are wonderful! Thursday, August 20, 2009. Our dear friends, Ryan and ...

Wisconsin Farmgirl: Cleaning the Oven
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2010/04/cleaning-oven.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. It has been far, far too long since I cleaned my oven. Every time I preheat it, there is a yucky burned smell. It is also very unappetizing to look at. There should be laws against letting your oven get this dirty! When I decided to blog the status of my oven, I took this first picture. Then I figured I should get a closer picture. So I crouched down in front of the oven,. And back in the far corner of the top rack I saw this. And then I laughed and laughed and laughed! A few hour...

Wisconsin Farmgirl: September 2009
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 22, 2009. The eggs are FINALLY here! Or at least they are starting to come! I don't know which hen laid these two, I think it was the same hen because they are so totally similar. I am so excited! Hopefully the other girls will get the idea now and there will be some serious egg production! Anyone want to get on the farm-fresh-egg-list? Wednesday, September 16, 2009. I am happy to report that we have had a great garden. Right now it is. 6 Wait for six weeks. Hopefully we will have ...

Wisconsin Farmgirl: Parties!
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2010/05/parties.html
Tuesday, May 4, 2010. We are planning parties at our house. A birthday party for Gabrielle, who turns 13 tomorrow. And a going-away/graduation party for Chelsea. Gabi's birthday party was an all-out affair last year for her twelfth birthday, so this year the preparations are not so complicated. Still, there are presents to shop for and wrap, activities to plan, and cake to bake and decorate. It is all so much fun! Who doesn't love a party? However, if I keep my mind on the goal, in this case, honoring bo...

When it was my turn on the computer, (sometimes I have to wait in line here! I went through my usual ritual. I have a list of sites that I check, usually in the same order each time.anyone else do that? I checked them all. As usual, her post was beautiful, amazing. I nearly turned off the computer right then and there. Someone has to start dinner you know! And here I am.

Wisconsin Farmgirl: The Deadline Arrives
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2010/04/deadline-arrives.html
Friday, April 23, 2010. Sorry, those are my explicatives for the morning. I am not done. I have not completed my task. I have failed. I planned to have all of the recipes from The Pioneer Woman Cooks. Made by today. It just ain't gonna happen. Since my last update I made Creme Brulee, Creamy Rosemary Potatoes, BBQ Jalapeno Poppers, PW's Potato Skins, and Iny's Prune Cake. Pico de Gallo (I have made it before, but not since I decided to cook all the way through the book). Guacamole (same as above).

Wisconsin Farmgirl: May 2009
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2009. Yes, we are still here! I know you are bored to tears every time you check my blog and see that I haven't updated or written anything new. Not that nothing new has happened around here, I just haven't come up with a creative way of expressing myself about all the things that have happened. So once again you are going to be subjected to a "catch-you-all-up" post. I hope you will forgive me! Mother's Day was delightful! It's time to get up! Come on, Dad! We have to get up! Fixed me Fr...

Wisconsin Farmgirl: March 2010
http://wisconsinfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. An entire day went by and no PW recipes. I was busy! Very, very busy! I have never refinished a piece of furniture before. It is a daunting task. At first I though it would be fun. Slop on the goopy stuff. Wait till the paint bubbles up. Scrape it off. There are some things that you should know about me. I can't tell you all of them at once, but here is something I have told you before. I DON'T LIKE CLEANING! Not me. When I see a mess my first reaction is to feel overwhelmed.
