Monday, June 13, 2011. The Thane of Cawdor and his nasty scheme. Macbeth has been told that he is the Thane of Cawdor, What will he do to become king? Macbeth sent a letter to his wife Lady Macbeth telling her of his victory in the war and him becoming Thane of Cawdor. When lady Macbeth gets this letter she starts to think of how to make her husband king and her the queen, "Unsex me here, and fill me, from the crown to the toe, topfull of direst cruelty! It was then decided that they would kill the king.
