This trail is going by much faster than my near 6 months on the PCT did. Gold Country Vintage Base Ball*. This is the gear I used during my PCT thru hike. I am currently interested in doing gear reviews, and demo's. Spending a summer in Alaska should provide me with opprotunities to test some gear in some serious conditions, the most rugged the US may have to offer. So I am certainly hoping to hear back from some gear companies pretty soon. I have removed the contoured back plate, effectively making this a lighter and frame-less pack. To date, I've seen around 10 snakes, 8 bears, dozens of white-tail deer, a coyote, a skunk and all sorts of squirrels and chipmunks.
