For those of you who don't know, we have been living with Lyle's sister and her family for the last 9 months (ish, give or take a little time). They just moved out of our rental home this last Saturday and boy do we miss the extra company! It is just crazy to me how lonely and big the house we are in feels now. Just over a year ago, we packed up our little apartment in Rexburg, as I blogged about here. I'm glad that...

http://melissaandlyleborders.blogspot.com/2015/01/waitwhere-did-2014-go.html
Friday, January 2, 2015. Waitwhere did 2014 go? Oh, boy. two blog posts last year! Hahathat has to be a new record, but not a good one. :) I think my resolution for this year will be to post at least 3 times. That should be doable, right? Where did 2014 go? It seems like time just flew by. We did have a great year and just to prove that we actually did something this last year, here is a recap of our 2014. I still love Idaho, but how can you say no to this? Two words: African Daisies. I LOVE them....

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. I have a confession. When I was in my early teens, I loved this show. Http:/ www.allancockerill.com/images/monkees.jpg. I loved it so much, that I would get up early, or try to stay up late whenever reruns were on. I also bought my dad one of their CD's for his birthday so I could listen to it (I was so clever back then). I may or may not have had a small crush on this fellow:. Borders Family: September 2012

Friday, September 21, 2012. There is a word to describe that right? Ah yes, that's it: Procrastination. Right, wasn't that only supposed to affect me while I was in school and grades were involved? Well, I am going to be better. The first step is recognizing that you have a problem right? I think I have had enough of a vacation and I am ready to get back to work.now if I could just find a job. Anyone? I finally got a corn dog. It was satisfactory, but not as good as those from the Blackfoot Fair. There i...

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Oh Geeze. Is it November already? So, since I am terrible and I'm sure you are dying to know what is happening in my life, I will update you quickly. September is my absolute favorite month. It's a month of state fairs, leaves changing colors, cool crisp mornings, warm afternoons, and my birthday and anniversary. Here's a long post about some things that happened in September. Here are some pictures of the cupcakes I made for my birthday. Unfortunately, I don't have any re...

Sunday, February 26, 2012. 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days. Well, according to the event tracker on this blog, we have around just under 5 months until we move to Washington! That is really just an estimate, we aren't sure what exact day we are moving yet, but still. 5 Months! I am so overjoyed! In less than 5 months, I will no longer have homework, Idaho snow, Idaho winds, and no more 5 AM wake up times with an hour commute (I hope anyways).the list could go on and on. Monday, February 13, 2012. He is inv...

Thursday, August 16, 2012. Living in Washington: Part I. Here is a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG post about our trip out here. We are doing well. That's really the most important thing, right? Some things that make me miss Idaho:. Having my parents just a quick drive away. My cute nephew (of course I miss my sisters too). Not having to check the time before I run any errands (If I time things wrong, it takes me 15 minutes to go two blocks to Fred Meyer. What fun! The cheaper price of groceries. We love you all!

Sunday, June 17, 2012. Happy Father's Day to My Dad! My dad. What can I tell you about my dad? He is the greatest dad a girl could ever have. Because I am earning a business degree, I work best with lists. So, here is a list of reasons why my dad really is the best. He drove my sisters and me to dance practice, piano lessons, swimming lessons, and just about everywhere else for about 10 years. He was at every dance performance, piano recital, and any other performance I had. He makes the corniest of joke...
