My new trucks battery died when I was x country skiing at the golf course. That the highway north of town is very dark, cold, and windy and no one picks up hitchhikers. That people screen there calls and dont talk to people from the Riverview restaurant. When someone calls for a ride from a restaurant they are assumed to be drunk and unable to drive.

I spent Christmas eve day morning out on Joey Lake with Shawn. Lots and lots of slush on the lake but a about 18 inches. Thanks to Kirby for letting Shawn borrow his sled for the weekend. We only caught one little fish but a good time was had. (Mr Safety no guns were used this time). Fishing Christmas eve morning with Shawn.

Then later on in the afternoon there was a big thunderstorm with some of the largest most intense hail I had ever seen. Last night was the Soft Ball social. Jim Bell was kind enough to show us his wood stash in the bush and Bruce decided to come along for the ride. By the end of the day the shed was full. Im pretty excited about that. Im going to be nice and toasty this year and very toasty next year once that birch dries out. Thanks Shawn Bruce and Jim for all the help. Pisew falls with lots and lots of water.
