Study results showed that patients with spinal stenosis got just as much pain relief from 6 months of physical therapy as they did from major back surgery. It was one year ago this month that I got my MRI results showing a bulging disc and spinal stenosis, a result of back pain at the end of my pregnancy. But he told me to give physical therapy a full year before looking into surgery.

Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Beckett goes to nursery. August 16, 2015 *. How is my baby old enough for nursery already! I still remember the first day Madden went to nursery. When we lived in Chicago. I remember it like it was yesterday! Time is moving way too fast! Part of me looooooves when my babies go to nursery because I can finally go to sunday classes and actually get something out of church, instead of spending 3 hours chasing a crazy toddler up and down the church hallways. Slow down, Beckett!

Thursday, August 13, 2015. May 20, 2015 *. Feels like just yesterday we were dropping him off for his first day of school! And now he's a kindergarten graduate! Its funny how watching him at his graduation ceremony summed up his personality so well. He was one of the only kids who stopped in the middle of the procession to give his mom a hug, both on his way in and on his way out. And one of the only ones who waved excitedly to his mom and dad through the entire song and presentation. Beckett / 18 months.

Thursday, August 13, 2015. May 7, 2015 *. We spent Madden's actual birthday at the beach. It turned out to be a pretty windy, chilly day for playing in the water, so we spent most of our time just chillin' in the sand. Madden got to open his birthday presents and eat Sprinkles cupcakes surrounded by his cousins on the beach.doesn't get much better than that! And then it was time to head home.
