Wanderin' Dot: 2011 PCT thru-hike. Saturday, March 19, 2011. I eat differently from lots of long-distance hikers. Sure I like to gorge on crappy hot dogs and do-nuts at the Quickie mart too. but generally I eat whole/natural foods. I don't have a sweet tooth generally, but find myself able to enjoy cookies and ice cream on trail. I spent a mere 2.5 days at my parents house provisioning for about 10 weeks, and it was totally exhausting and sorta stressful! So, what the heck do you eat? AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
