September 7, 2014. A Daemon is not evil. It’s your inner being or guardian spirit. This one might look a little grumpy. Perhaps, it’s because he’s just waking up. Shadow Beacon | Fine Art by David Lazarus
https://dllazarus.wordpress.com/2014/04/11/shadow-beacon
April 11, 2014. Believe it or not, the turquoise, blue, pink and orange streams flaring out from the center contain the same transformations as the sphere for Captivating Dream. Except for the bubble final. I did play with the triangles a bit. The yellow “beacon” came pretty easy. I’m not going to give it all away, but I will say that one of the transformations has eight sides. This fractal was created in JWildfire; an app written by Andreas Maschke. May 18, 2014. Escape the City Heat. Escape the City Heat takes what I learned doing Speckled Butterfly Highway. A few steps further. You might notice a little bit of similarity if you compare them side by side, but there are stark differences. This one looks way cool in high resolution. Captivating Dream | Fine Art by David Lazarus
https://dllazarus.wordpress.com/2014/03/05/captivating-dream/comment-page-1
March 5, 2014. All of my fractals are experiments, but this one was particularly experimental. It was looking rather unremarkable for quite a while. Then, I added a Blocky variation to the Ovoid3D in the 2nd layer and it really lit up! So, I added a 3rd layer which was rather interesting as well without the final added. I might use that in another fractal, but I added a final to this one because I wanted a sphere shape. The textured background was added in PS. Don’t stare at it too long! Remove the "top ...

Ice Lily | Fine Art by David Lazarus
https://dllazarus.wordpress.com/2014/04/04/ice-lily/comment-page-1
April 4, 2014. Post Symmetry really worked its magic on this one! At just two layers and a total of 4 transformations and 2 variations, Ice Lily is simple; yet elegant. It truly came together quickly and was a refreshing breeze compared to most of my work. Sometimes it’s nice to have something simple blossom (pun intended) rather than working so hard to create a cool render. This fractal was created in JWildfire; an app written by Andreas Maschke. Morphnotized – A Fractal Movie | Fine Art by David Lazarus
https://dllazarus.wordpress.com/2014/09/07/morphnotized-a-fractal-movie
September 7, 2014. Morphnotized – A Fractal Movie. This one’s been a long time coming! I originally completed it in late 2013. Then, I redid it in a JWF v1.50 in April 2014. I found the perfect soundtrack for it with Anthony Rother’s. I was absolutely delighted! I finally uploaded the 444MB video to Youtube on the evening of September 4. Now, it is available for everyone to see! Please watch in HD! This fractal was created in JWildfire; an app written by Andreas Maschke. This entry was tagged abstract art.

September 7, 2014. Tubular shells represents a cumulation of things I’ve learned from a few other great artists while creating something that is 100% my own. The original color gradient was atrocious. The blues and purples are much better! The finished product brought multi-instrumentalist Mike Oldfield to mind along with his classic album Tubular Bells.
