One Day at a Time: September 2011
http://adrianmeredith.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 23, 2011. Pumpkins and pouty faces. Last week, we took a trip to the apple orchard. It was perfect: the first day of crisp, cool, fall weather. We went for a hayride and picked some apples. And then I tried to get a picture of Lyndon. But, I think the pictures are cute anyway. So here we go! Concentrating very hard to walk along a narrow bench . . . Then deciding it was more fun to sit. Playing with a pumpkin . . . still no smiles. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. A good mom does whatever...

Friday, February 3, 2012. The promised belly shot. So, I never did get around to taking a belly shot picture past 32 weeks. Oops. But I got a good one tonight. Baby on the inside, baby on the outside. Still a belly shot, right? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Our firstborn Lyndon, born in January 2010, looks just like his daddy. He loves snuggling, going to the playground, running around outside, and riding his tricycle. He is such a joy, and we love him to pieces! Simple template&#...

One Day at a Time: October 2011
http://adrianmeredith.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. On some subjects, it is difficult to have an original thought. So many smart people have spent time writing about it, that to add to all that would just be silly. This is especially true when you've just finished reading an article by Mark Driscoll that sums it up perfectly. :-P. Such is the case with the "Halloween for Christians" issue. Should we even celebrate at all? If so, how? Along with some pictures of the cutest little "lion" you've ever seen. :-). He took his job very ...

One Day at a Time: November 2011
http://adrianmeredith.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. 32 week belly shot: like puberty, but faster. My apologies for the prolonged silence; the stuff of life has gotten in the way of blogging (Thanksgiving, pregnancy, motherhood, stuff like that). But now I'm back! And what a post to be back with. Having reached 34 weeks of pregnancy this past weekend, I thought it was high time I posted my 32 week pictures. These were. Actually taken on week 32. (You'll see the difference in two weeks when I post the next set. Oy.). Well, we deci...

One Day at a Time: jury duty update
http://adrianmeredith.blogspot.com/2012/06/jury-duty-update.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. Desk attendant (male): Do you have your summons? Me: Yes. I also have a baby. Desk attendant (male): Um. you can't bring a baby in here. Me: Well, I got a summons, and, despite a doctor's note saying that he is exclusively breastfed and won't take a bottle, I was told to come in anyway. So here we are. Desk attendant (male): Uh. hold on one second. (Looks across at his [female] co-worker. They mumble to each other for a few seconds.). Desk attendant (female): Ms. Peterson? And then...

One Day at a Time: 8 months!
http://adrianmeredith.blogspot.com/2012/09/8-months.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2012. First of all, let me just say that I find it hilarious (and completely appropriate) that my last post for two months was the "hey look, Kieran is crawling! Post Clearly, I have been too busy chasing around a newly mobile baby to post. But today, I have a few moments (at least until somebody wakes up). So. As of yesterday, Kieran was 8 months old! I took him to the doctor this morning for his first ear infection, and they plopped him on the scale. And my jaw hit the floor.

One Day at a Time: proof, part 2: he crawls!
http://adrianmeredith.blogspot.com/2012/07/proof-part-2-he-crawls.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. Proof, part 2: he crawls! I made this video last week, and he's only gotten better since then. He's recently started to try to pull himself up, and if you hold his hands, he will take a step or two. I think I may have an early walker on my hands! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
