PS Wai's Portfolio: Portfolio 1
http://pswai.blogspot.com/2008/08/portfolio-1.html
Monday, August 25, 2008. After reading the articles "Introduction to the Grand Challenges for Engineering" and "The expanding world of engineers", I found that the world of engineers has really changed. Engineers are not merely dealing with constructions again, instead, we can see engineering-educated individuals everywhere, even includes the financial area that people have never thought there will be engineers involved. Monday, October 13, 2008. Portfolio 4 - Difficulties In Engineering Writing. Time passes without mercy, more than two months have passed since my very first day in NUS. As an engineering undergraduate, writing academic essays focusing on engineering are unavoidable. Of course, I have been facing some difficulties in writing them, even for now. Here, I am ready to share them with you all. Lee Chien Wuan (E07). October 19, 2008 at 9:43 AM. October 21, 2008 at 5:49 PM. I am in the same situation as you.

PS Wai's Portfolio: Portfolio 5 - Minimize potential unethical abuses of brain mapping

Thursday, October 30, 2008. Portfolio 5 - Minimize potential unethical abuses of brain mapping. In conclusion, brain mapping is naturally a beneficial technology. The pros or cons that it will bring rely completely on by whom and to whom it is used. To eliminate any possibility of abuse, rules and regulations must be made, and more importantly, we must follow them. Agree that rules must be seted, no rules, no safety. November 2, 2008 at 7:52 PM. PS Wai's Portfolio: Portfolio 3 - A summary about fusion power
http://pswai.blogspot.com/2008/10/portfolio-3-summary-about-fusion-power.html
Saturday, October 4, 2008. Portfolio 3 - A summary about fusion power. Solid, liquid and gas are the three states of matter that we are familiar with. However, in the last century, a fourth state of matter called plasma has been introduced. In addition, the astounding fact is that the universe contains around 99 percent of plasma, which we did not realize for centuries! Lowman, M. (2006). Will fusion power provide energy solutions for our grandchildren? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). How engineering...

Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Yes, engineers have made my life (or everybody's life) easier. As civilization grows, people are expecting to spend better lives. We call this expectation "the joy of living". In the past, people walked. Then, they used animal as their transportation. Nowadays, the transportation system has advanced to a level where no human is required to drive the transports, a.k.a Unmanned Vehicle. This shows that human being always wanted to do things in an easier way.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008. To solve this problem, I'll try to keep my sentences short, instead of connecting a few phrases using commas. In this way, I can control the way my points are organized. However, this is not a bullet-proof method. It's not always possible to change a long sentences to short ones. I think the best way to solve this problem is, again, to read. By reading other people's article, I can learn how they bring out their points. Reading helps to improve my vocabulary also. I agree with ...
