Larr; Over the Hedge. Shrek 2 →. Continues for me on Madagascar. This time, since the movie takes place mostly in the dense jungle, there is a greater amount of set dressing. To do Part of a two man team on The Beach sequence, I set dressed hundreds of trees, bushes, and grass clumps for the location where the beach meets the jungle. Working from key art. I moved into Previs/Rough Layout for the Madagascar sequels, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. And Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.

Larr; Madagascar 3. Madagascar 2 →. Called for full character blocking. Of a sequence or section of a sequence. Several cameras would later be staged into the shots to create extra footage for use by the Editorial department. This process was called Shooting for Coverage. For a space sequence, I was challenged with creating a black hole that would swallow up two planets. The shot included camera shake. Flying spacepods, and particle dynamics.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (2014). Mr Peabody and Sherman →. Cinematics for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. A next-gen game developed by Monolith Productions. Begins with the previsualization of sequences based on the written script. I worked in MotionBuilder. Using keyframed animation to stage and block cameras and characters. The director approves the previs. Sequences which are used as guides for the live action performance capture sessions. To bring the scene to timing lock.

Thriller Night →. In 2002, I began Final Layout. Work on my first film, Shrek 2,. For DreamWorks Animation. My first sequence was "Welcome to Far Far Away" where I set dressed. The Rodeo Drive environment. Under the direction of the production designer, I placed all of the Rodeo Drive signage, palm trees, topiaries, and restaurant tables and chairs. I also mapped out vehicle street traffic and maintained its continuity across all shots. In other sequences, I keyframed camera shake.
