The beach looks different today. Let me read it to you. The beach looks different today. The sea the sky the waves are grey. Pebbles now are hid from sight. The shore a sheet of dazzling white. I hear a laugh I see a child. Throwing snowballs running wild. There a puppy leaping high. Chasing snowflakes in the sky. I look around, I love the way. The beach looks different today. Often, the landscapes dont really change. Like in my poem CHANGES series #1. You help me embrace life completely,. I wish you well.

I know it’s here somewhere. But where tell me where. I saw it last night. When I sat in this chair. I spent four hours scribbling. And scratching my head. And screwing up paper. And shaking my head. Then orange and brown. Skeletal hedge rows and mighty oaks. Point barren fingers at an autumn sky. Sends rustling leaves scurrying. Natures carpet of many colours. At the day’s end. A setting sun gives way to a ghostly mist. Laying low across empty furrows. A damp chill fills the still air. The time has come. For the earth to rest, to hibernate. January 25, 2008 at 10:50 PM. PEPEK, if you want to adhere to the 5-7-5 or 17 syllables rule when writing senryu, the same as with haiku then that is your right. I, however do not any longer.
