An Old Biddy with Bite! February 25th, 2011. Tiger, Tiger, Burning Bright! Can YOU spot the kitty? This, alas, is what happens when you don't have a suitable lens for wildlife photography (max 200mm). There was another chap with us, who just happened to know dear. Now can you spot the kitty? The male had been enjoying a nice soak in the cooler water against the very hot afternoon sun when a female, unphotographed, briefly came out of the bushes and caught his attention, so he was on his way to a hot date!

Kodiak - Elephas maximus. 21 November 2010 @ 09:41 pm. A mile or so away, a bear was running in our direction with a fish in its mouth, pursued by two other bears. The salmon runs hadn't begun so whatever fish the bears got was a bonus and the two chasers were trying to steal another bear's bonus! We can't wait to go back to Kodiak again and spend time in the grand wilderness once again. Kodiak as seen when flying in a float plane. The Munsey's bear camp.
