Crane Crew: December 2014
http://thecraneblog.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2014. Each year it seems we say, "This was the best Christmas yet! And this year was no exception. I have to say that I love the tradition we have carried over from Bret's childhood of ice skating on Christmas Eve Day. It is so much fun. This year we went to a beautiful outdoor rink in Reston. It was lovely. They even had toddler ice-skates that we tried out with Grayson. He wasn't a big fan. Exploring Christmas stocking loot. For a kid who is usually bursting with enthusiasm there...

Crane Crew: November 2013
http://thecraneblog.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 10, 2013. No school equals exploring with Mom. We definitely knocked one of the bucket list when we went to Georgetown and ate at DC cupcakes. The best part was.NO LINE! Zach was a fan. Really we were all fans. We walked and explored Georgetown for a while and then went down to the river and had a lot of fun just playing around. There was a really neat Zen and relaxation maze. Not so Zen for us, the kids had fun running it and timing to see who could get the fastest time. A weekend of 10.

Crane Crew: July 2013
http://thecraneblog.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Yesterday was a monumental day. Almost exactly four years ago our family moved from Texas here to Charlottesville, Virginia for Bret to obtain a PhD in business at Darden. Our first Sunday here we ventured out to the Lawn to see the Rotunda. And we've been there countless times since with every visitor that has come, Halloween trick or treating, and school field trips. That first Sunday the kids looked like this. Thursday, July 18, 2013. I missed her like crazy! At the airport hea...

Crane Crew: April 2014

Sunday, April 20, 2014. Universal Studios: Harry Potter World. We got off the boat early Friday morning and drove over to Universal Studios to experience Harry Potter world. We even made it there when they opened! It was pretty amazing. These three waited in line extra long so they could ride front row. We had to experience butterbeer. Abby liked it the most. One of the longest line we stood in all day was to go into Ollivanders Wand shop. Which of course meant we HAD. To buy the wand. McKenna and Bret w...

Letters From Sister Crane. Monday, January 31, 2011. January 31, 2011. Craziest week of my life! Wowzer. So it goes a little something like this. Tuesday: went to training meeting in Halifax, it snows and roads are bad so we stay with Sister Hudson(MTC comp.) in the city. Really fun but super exhausted because the next morning we had to drive back for appointments. Then I find out my new companion has been delayed so I'll be going to the city that next day. I was so excited about it and told her I would ...

Letters From Sister Crane. Monday, November 14, 2011. It was so awesome! She was so happy and so excited! She got baptized on 11/11/11. The baptism went smoothly from there on out. She did get out and mention that we could check baptism and polar dip on the bucket list though. :) So I guess it wasn't as warm as I thought. I can't express the joy I felt just witnessing this awesome baptism! Yesterday our lesson with Elaine was awesome! How cool is that? After telling us this she told us that she wasn't su...

Letters From Sister Crane. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Greg's French Onion Soup. Mum, very tasty. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. I'm staying in Truro! Who would have thought? I did Well it was just one of those things where I just felt like I was staying. It is kind of insane to stay in one place for this long, but I figure that there's something that I haven't done yet that I need to do, so once I figure out what that is I'll do it and get out of here! Here's some exciting news: GREG IS ON DATE! Sabrina, Casey'...

Letters From Sister Crane. Monday, February 28, 2011. Nopenot interested. We knock the whole street and it's 4:55pm, and we're at the last house. Sister Glenn and I look and each other and say, "ok here it is! Our new investigator, it's going to happen! We walked out of there in shock. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, we had the faith, we planned with the Spirit and worked, but still it's crazy that it worked! Tuesday, February 22, 2011. What a great week! We had leadership training and it was awesome!
