Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Be a Friend Shawl. It is ALWAYS a GREAT FEELING to finish a project. I just fell in love with this pattern when I saw it, but wasn't sure I could re-create it. I just jumped in and it worked out nicely. It is a change from the rectangle and straight ones I've been making. I found the free pattern here. It took 3 skeins of Fusion TLC Essentials that I got at an excellent price;-). This is one I will probably make again. On to the next project. Links to this post. Fun, Fun, Fun!

Sunday, January 20, 2013. Kitty bag for Aunts walker. Oh what fun:-) The other day I finished this bag for my Aunt. She has kitties so I thought she would like this one. I like how it turned out. I have surfer kitties as the lining fabric. It also has an inner pocket. The front pocket is the bottom print. I hope to finish the third one today for my other aunt. Monday, December 31, 2012. I forgot to mention. Back in April, I believe it was, I entered to win a knotted Rosary made by Tina of Divine. I won and told her it couldn't have come at a better time. I told her. I was going to have a MRI done as a follow up for a brain tumor that was found. She. Put this gorgeous wood cross on the rosary so I can take it in with me whenever I have. An MRI. So the question is - am I being passive aggressive if I said good morning and got no response so I am leaving for the weekend even though the basement is flooded and we need not only a water heater but most likely a sump pump too? Sunday, February 14, 2010. So I was in this grumpy bad mood and I took Colleen with me to try to start Tim's car. We put oil in and yes, the battery is dead. BUT the car is completely surrounded by 3 feet of snow with no way to get my car anywhere near it. And we can't get it into neutral to push his car out of the tiny driveway. We make plans to return to take Tim and Marissa where they need to go later and try to leave. Did I mention the "driveway" was covered in icy snow? February 28, 2010 at 11:31 AM.
