I really like a lot of their wines. They have fantastic style and character. My particular favourites would be the “Wild Witch” Shiraz, the “Wombat General” Riesling and the “Funk Wagon” GSM. Did I mention, “Wild Witch”? They are great company at cellar door so if you are in the area just pop in and say hello. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

52 Weeks of Grateful. Wednesday, 27 August 2014. Dragons and Fairies on the loose. Is it just me or do the words 'Book Week Parade' fill mother's hearts with dread? They certainly do for me and I wait with bated breath until the desired costumes are announced. Crystal, a Rainbow Magic Fairy (pretty easy I thought) and Toothless from the series of books and the movie How to Train Your Dragon (arrrrgh! Lovely wine from Australia.

Tuesday, April 1, 2014. BFF's Visit - Day 4. Our original plan for day 4 was to visit Victor harbour, but the weather forecast was not very good, so we decided to go to the Barossa Valley instead. Our first destination was Angaston. One of the oldest towns in South Australia. After looking around the town, we had a picnic in one of the parks along the main street. Our menu consisted of pies, pasties and large seafood pizza from the 40s Cafe. Which won the best gourmet pizza in Australia 2011. My life is ...
