And inside too…. After a few weeks the beautiful blue-green foliage began to fade and turn brown, but the seed pods remained green. That’s kind of a tough phase to endure. While my perennial bed is a jumble of plants, they are at least neat. This monster was/is very conspicuous! But last week the pods began to turn brown and tiny holes appeared in the crown.
