http://rolirock.blogspot.com/2007/11/human-performance-improvement-hpi.html
Monday, November 19, 2007. Human Performance Improvement (HPI). Yes, I too believe that the incentive system is a necessary evil. At least I think that, but how does the incentive system work in the education industry? I know for a while they were trying to punish teachers for low scores and reward others with high scores, but is that fair? Where does social-economic reality come into play? EDIT451: Stranger Than Fiction
http://edit451.blogspot.com/2007/12/stranger-than-fiction.html
Saturday, December 1, 2007. 160;People learn for many reasons. Some need job skills. Others enjoy the process and the result is not so important. Just about everyone needs to have reading skills, but not everyone needs to know how to fly a plane. But what if a law were passed that required everyone to submit to an electronic brain implant that gave them emergency CPR skills? 160;That would save a lot of lives, but would it be fair, ethical, moral? Monday, November 19, 2007. EDIT 451 Posting 4-Trends and Issues in Various Settings. But now, I realized why in that time, my students were not learned very well and continued on that program.
