FINDING MY WAY WITH POLYMER CLAY. Saturday, March 14, 2009. Well, this is a long story but I'll try to make it short.I've been using and loving Sculpey. 111 for a while now, I love the colors and especially the softness and easy conditioning. So I ordered some. I baked three identical shapes of clay, one was Sculpey. Classic and one was Fimo. SoftI tried them for strength and immediately the Sculpey. One snapped in my fingers.but both Fimos. Were strong and resisted breaking.so I'm hooked on Fimo. Maybe ...

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. New Technique - "Crackly Goodness". Greetings, Polymer Clay Peeps! I have here, what I believe is a new polymer clay technique which I will call "Crackly Goodness.". We'll see if anything sticks ;o). The look is similar to mokume gane. But the layered effect is created with alcohol inks only.no colored clay at all. I also got a great crackle goin' on, which happened entirely by accident. Love that *serendipity stuff! Which you can see there as well. Email me. Links to this post.

Mutterings and Musings on Business, Life, Polymer Clay and other Functional Foolishness. I’m certainly late coming to this whole blog party, but I suppose it doesn’t really matter. I have visited many blogs before deciding to start one myself. Some have been good, some…. well, less so. Hopefully, this will develope into one of the better ones. I wasn’t too sure what I would write about at first. I mean, what could I write about concerning polymer clay that could possibly be of value? From your own site.
