Cynthia helped with the cording, and Chad helped with re-assemblage. Sunday, February 8, 2009. This weekend I took an upholstery class. I started with this chair, Sneezy. The ladies of Spruce Upholstery (where we took the class) found it in an old asylum in Brady, TX. Spooky. Dusty. Sunday, February 1, 2009. Crest Ave. Rooster: Independence from Painting?
http://crestavenuerooster.blogspot.com/2009/07/independence-from-painting.html
Crest Ave. Rooster. Sunday, July 5, 2009. Chad and I have been painting since mid-May, but still painting chores abound! Saving a cool five grand sounded like a good idea, so we decided to sock that money away for the day we'll inevitably need new siding. That means painting the exterior on our own. Chad did all the high bits. The push-out window. The eaves. The carport. But we're closer to finish than start, and that's a good feeling. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Crest Ave. Rooster: Another contender.
http://crestavenuerooster.blogspot.com/2009/02/another-contender.html
Crest Ave. Rooster. Sunday, February 1, 2009. Chad and I were fond of the light blue but felt that it was, perhaps, too light. Since we were so fond of the blue we found for barn door #2, we decided to try one step down in an exterior satin. Here is the result. February 5, 2009 at 7:41 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Crest Ave. Rooster: December 2007
http://crestavenuerooster.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Crest Ave. Rooster. Sunday, December 9, 2007. And now we answer the question, what is noisier than ONE feral rooster in the neighborhood? Several weeks ago we woke up to different crowing. A full cock-a-doodle-doo, as opposed to the cock-a-doodle of THE rooster. Then there was a call and response - cock a doodle doo. cock a doodle. cock a doodle doo. cock a doodle - that ultimately converged on our back yard. And you already know Red:. Crest Ave. Rooster: April 2008
http://crestavenuerooster.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Crest Ave. Rooster. Wednesday, April 16, 2008. On curtains. He's been working his fingers to the bone, and now the guest room has some lovely green curtains. At long last - a new front porch. The old one was sinking into the ground because it was only held up by toothpicks. Or rather, 2x4s. 2x4s are similarly unsuitable for holding up porches. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
