How was your Evening?: Finishing Touches
http://howwasyourevening.blogspot.com/2012/01/finishing-touches.html
How was your Evening? Just one of many to come. Boyfriend went away for the day on business, so I took a vacation day just for me - yahoo! The new floors in the apartment are so beautiful, but the crappy quarter round that the contractors put in was poorly installed, and very scuffed. Today I laid painters tape, used PolyFilla on the nail holes (because they did not! And painted to match. It looks so lovely and it only cost 22$. Wide band painters tape. PolyFilla Instant (dries super fast). Picture Windo...

moss stitch: November 2013

Tuesday, 12 November 2013. Shop till you Pop. I shall be a part of Popstop a new space in Walthamstow village opened by Little Mashers. There are different designer makers each week in the run up to Christmas. E11 Made is a new venture I'm doing with my friend Gail combining our makes. We have tried desperately to get our own pop shop but to no avail. It seems landlords would rather have empty shops than short lets. We keep trying though! Please do pop along, it'll be lovely to see you. Shop till you Pop.

moss stitch: a while...
http://moss-stitch.blogspot.com/2013/10/a-while.html
Tuesday, 22 October 2013. Its a been a while. I have no real excuse why but here goes. This year has not been the best and maybe I'm now just trying to sit the rest of it out and hope next year will be better. It just might be. I've lost my way a little with blogging and don't feel I have anything relevant to say. It's just dawned on me that maybe I never did! Not me) Life was taken over with gas leaks, lack of. Hot water and heat. It was miserable. Ollie Cat went missing for 2 days and came home not qui...

moss stitch: April 2013
http://moss-stitch.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 28 April 2013. This was the week that. The handle broke off the grinder. No proper coffee all week. Wail. Broken part sourced, bought and replaced - thank goodness for the internet. All is good again. I cleared and moved stuff around and into my little studio in the garage. The car is full of stuff to go to school, charity and friends. Old table legs were painted and now waiting for a top to go on. A new batch of beer is being brewed, it bubbled and gurgled away while I was in the garage. There a...

moss stitch: January 2014
http://moss-stitch.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 14 January 2014. I've had one of those days that required me to stay home and wait for a parcel. I waited, I super cleaned the kitchen. I waited and did piles of washing. I waited and sorted out the baskets of hats and gloves. I waited and lolle. D on the sofa with Betty. I waited all day. It might be ok. It wasn't, it's mammoth and I've ran out of wool. The parcel didn't arrive either. So right back where I started. Where did my Monday go? Now its Tuesday and looking very similar to Monday.

moss stitch: The last 2013 round up
http://moss-stitch.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-last-2013-round-up.html
Tuesday, 31 December 2013. The last 2013 round up. Well I intended to get here many times but things got very hectic in the last month of the year. Our Pop Up in Walthamstow went very well indeed, I loved being there and it made me realise how much I missed my shop! During that week we heard from Waltham Forest council that they were going to give us their shop! Shopping was done mainly online but I did hit the shops for the little bits. We have so far played board games - Uno Flash and Monopoly City and...

moss stitch: September 2013
http://moss-stitch.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 3 September 2013. I stole a day away from the teens to go and see the Paper exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. With a friend. The gallery is in a huge lovely building and is an amazing space. The exhibition as the name suggests is all to do with paper. A huge head and shoulders made of paper and yet looked remarkably like clay, even the way the paper had been applied was done in a similar way. This lady frightened the life out of me! Falling pieces on a projected screen gathered when your shadow...

Pink Strawberries: July 2011
http://janchavez.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Life in the slow lane, where knitting, cooking and family fun reside. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Slow and Steady Wins the Race. I wish I could post the story of the Tortoise and the Hare, and say that I have some projects that are quick as a bunny, and others that are slow.ly nearing completion. Alas, all my knitting projects seem to be taking a terribly long time to get to the finish line. Here's hoping I have something 'finished' to show you soon. Friday, July 15, 2011. Monday, July 11, 2011. I thought I'...

Pink Strawberries: Stash Enhancement
http://janchavez.blogspot.com/2011/11/stash-enhancement.html
Life in the slow lane, where knitting, cooking and family fun reside. Monday, November 28, 2011. Well, it's been a pretty busy couple of weeks. We all have them now and then, and not a whole lot of knitting has been happening around here. Not only that, but I haven't been posting or reading online, so blogging adventures have taken a real beating. I'm back to normal now (whatever that means) and I thought I'd share my recent acquisition! Notice the tendency to lean toward pinky-rosy colors? January 6, 20...

How was your Evening?: December 2011
http://howwasyourevening.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
How was your Evening? Almost the End of 2011. And as good as a year it has been, I can't wait to start 2012! My big accomplishment of 2011 was my career switch - leaving financial services to begin clerical/registration work in healthcare. I really needed the change! Hopefully greater things will come from that seed in 2012. Also boyfriend and I are dieting again. Which we try every New Year, as well as multiple times throughout the year! We survived the flood! Didn't have to claim anything with our insu...
