Thursday, May 15, 2008. Some Disappointment But.Some Hope On The Home Front. The day started out like any other day. A phone call from mom, laying in bed not wanting to wake up, the usual. I went down to Georgia State University this morning with my friend Amanda (who has already been accepted) and we rode the MARTA from Chamblee. Hope everyone is having a wonderful time spread out across the country. The crusaders. I'm sure everything will work out for you at State. Keep you head up and be positive.

Common sense ain't all that common; So pay attention. CATCHING UP WITH OUR FAMILY. WE ARE ALL DOING WELL. THE BIG CAMP-O-REE WAS GREAT FUN. We participated in lots of fun activities that challenged the new scouts and their boy leaders, like this blindfolded communiucation event. 65279;And of course the ever popular "foam noodle jousting" was a real crowd pleaser. The guys also enjoyed rifle shooting, archery, map and compass course rally, some geo-caching and a lot more. AND THEN WE HAD THE WEATHER.

MaryJo had to come home on Friday to be with Cathleen who was having some tests done in the hospital. Common sense ain't all that common; So pay attention. 80 DEGREES AND CLEAR SKIES. So first thing this morning Aaron and I pulled the top off the JEEP and headed out. We ran a few errands then stopped by to help dad with a tree down in his yard. Got that pretty well under control and then moved on to a great breakfast. Soory, no pix, we were too busy. Later that day, Rachel helped me choose some flowers for the house and get them planted. And all the new plants looked great along with the blooming azaleas.

I am now programing all the frequently called numbers into it. It is a little complex. The difficult part will come when I have to show Nancy how to use this feature. (Now that will be complex.). Their goal for the days events was $15,000, and the last number I heard was in excess of $20,000 and the money was still coming in. It was a great success for a great cause. The Basile handled the whole thing and did an outstanding job. Now, I know the question is coming to your mind, "What were you doing all that time? I hope the people that attended to events had as good a time as I had participating.
