Orecchiette with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli Rabe. February 5, 2012. I know. Weird word. Even with the translation guides online I can’t figure out how to say it. But I did learn it means little ears in Italian, and explains the shape of these unique little pasta’s. And it was very, very good. It was similar to fire island ziti. Without the tomatoes) but DH said he liked it much better. The little ear shapes really pull the sauce in and hold it it was very flavorful and fun to eat. 1 tsp olive oil.

Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Two days in a row. Maddy has had this tooth(right side) that has been wiggling like crazy for weeks now but refuses to come out even with the grown up tooth coming in behind it. Then she tells me a few days ago that the other tooth(left side) is loose. Well, she comes home from school yesterday with a cute little purple treasure chest and smiles. That was 2/6/12. All evening long Adam and I keep telling her to wiggle that tooth! And this is the cute face that I look into.
