Friday, June 19, 2009. Buh-bye Chemo, don't let the door. Not by a long shot. Mentally I slid lower and lower, a bit darker and sadder each day. Even tho I knew that there were no hormonal options in the drug department for my menopausal symptoms, I went ahead and emailed my doc about the brutal hot flashes on Monday night after my 1st chemo. Friday, April 10, 2009. Lousy, crappy, crummy, rotten, terrible, sick. The most common question I get is "how are you feeling? No cooking or big meal serving - I'll be tempted to help, I'll be no help at all, I'll feel guilty - UGH. Pizza - let's order pizza and wings and eat off paper plates and call it done - please! Sunday is my husbands family Easter dinner and joint birthday celebration for my boy and his grandfather, who share a birthday. My beautiful baby turned 16 yesterday! Thank God for that!
