With an already festering love for travel, and my older sister’s lament that it was the one thing she wishes she had done in college, studying abroad was an inevitable part of my college experience. While I had dreamed about studying in northern Italy, the price tag of that program was not going to allow for much travel. So, Finland it was! A friend of mine had applied for the same program, so it was decided that we would be travel buddies, and off we went.

I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Magazine Journalism. I'm from the wonderful city of Portland and enjoyed growing up as a city kid. I am a writer, designer, photographer, and lover of the creative arts. If I have money in my pocket, I am most likely to spend it on fashion, music, or magazines (of course). A few of my favorite things. Stumptown Coffee on 3rd Ave. Making mix CDs for friends. I have been to 13 countries but only 8 U.S. states. I have seen Bob Dylan twice.
