Where I'm At; Where I've Been; and Where I'm Going Next.with my pictures along the way. Thursday, January 06, 2011. What a great way to Start the New Year! This is me on January 1st! Well, this is it! All that talk about 2010 for so many years…and now…it’s all history. In many ways it’s a bizarre feeling looking back at 2010 – but I prefer to look forward and I’m excited to see what 2011 has in store for us all. Let’s just say this January 1. Was better, much, much, better. Since last January our Nationa...

Where I'm At; Where I've Been; and Where I'm Going Next.with my pictures along the way. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Yesterday was a spectacular day and the culmination of a years' worth of extremely hard work. It was the day I skied for the first time since my crash on December 17, 2009. I can only describe my return to snow as if I was finally 'Coming Home'. This is me on the chairlift heading up for my first run! Stretching it out - making sure I'm limbered up for the run! You must be, so happy right now.

Elli Terwiel: March 2014
http://elliterwiel.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 1, 2014. The Olympics were an experience I will never forget. There is so much going on beyond your own participation but at the same time it is each individual athletes participation that makes it matter. I learned so much about myself, about sport, about winning and definitely about defeat during my time in Sochi. Mens 4 man bobsled and I was extremely excited to get tickets to watch the mens gold medal hockey game! I VERY much appreciated having him there! The Canadian Moose mascot!
Elli Terwiel: Summertime
http://elliterwiel.blogspot.com/2013/09/summertime.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. After Zermatt I travelled to Boston, Massachusetts to visit my boyfriend and his family for a week. It was so nice and relaxing in comparison to the hectic schedule we keep while we are full time training. The small break allowed me to do a "mini" internship with my boyfriend at his work! I was beyond excited to be able to go to work at an geotechnical engineering firm and learn/watch what happens beyond the school engineering curriculum. I loved it! After carefully monitor...

Monday, March 25, 2013. Since my last post, once again, a lot has happened! I competed in World Championships, tore my quad, attended school, raced NCAA championships, raced in Ofterschwang, raced NorAm finals, went home and now I am in Whistler at Canadian Nationals. I was feeling very ready to race! I was excited to ski my best event and I felt I needed to redeem myself after coming 11th in the GS. Once again, it was not to be. Upon coming onto the pitch I slid out of the course on my side and ...It is...

High winds and higher temperatures created huge challenges for the entire Organizing Committee and consequently crews worked around the clock to get races off. The Course Crew determined that they were being worked like “dogs”. Today The Sled Dogs are recognized throughout ski racing circles as the volunteers corps of...

Encouraging Women To Embrace Truth. Reflecting on the Gospel. September 7, 2017. You and I communicate the gospel we believe by the way we live our life. Whether it’s in our conversations, our associations, what we hate or what we admire. Reflecting on your conversations, your passions and your life will give you great insight into the gospel you believe and the gospel you share with others. Any good in us is only God and God, not the Good Christian , should be glorified. Jesus has given us clear command...

Last Day for Week Two. November 18, 2011. Hanna “MOTORS”. 8220;G Force” Gillian. Rowan “Firecracker” McSherry. Another bright sunny day again at Loveland, perfect for taking pictures. It has been a long, but fun week for all these kids and each and every one of them is excited about gettting home. See you all in. All kidding asi...
