Invitation to Participate in Keloid Study. We are researchers at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Our research interest is to find the genetic cause for keloid formation and to understand the processes that lead to the development of keloids and other fibrotic skin disorders. When keloid formation runs in a family it sometimes affects several members of the same family. We invite families with more than 2 affected members to participate in our IRB-approved study.
