I got to go home and spend about a week and a half with my wonderful family. While I was home, I also got to go to Seattle area for our family reunion. It was really great seeing all my family and having a bit of a break. We had a blast! And luke and I were only like 28 rows back. so worth ever penny. Of course my favorite started, football!

The Nanny Diaries: May 2009

Friday, May 22, 2009. I wish I had something really exciting to put on my blog since it has been a long, long time since I have updated it! But my life has been pretty ordinary lately. Nothing too exciting is going on. But I did start a new job last month. I have started working with a new family with triplets- and they are all girls this time! Two are identical and one is not. Which is the exact same as the boys I used to take care of! They are very cute and I love dressing them in their clothes!

Aimee Jo from Idaho: What Goes Around...
http://aimeejofromidaho.blogspot.com/2009/05/what-goes-around.html
Aimee Jo from Idaho. Saturday, May 09, 2009. Yes, it's true. When I was a small child, I went through a phase of calling my parents by their names. Not "Mommy" and "Daddy", but "Dennis" and "Donna". My mom said that I wasn't disrespectful, and it soon passed. I'll keep that in mind, since my 20 month old has now found that I not only answer to "Mommy" but to "Aimee" as well! I think that she feels so grown up when she uses my adult name, because she gets a little smirk on her face when calling me.
Aimee Jo from Idaho: Handsome Boy
http://aimeejofromidaho.blogspot.com/2009/06/handsome-boy.html
Aimee Jo from Idaho. Friday, June 05, 2009. I can hardly believe it, but our Evan David is 4 months old already! He's growing strong and is so much fun these days. He loves to talk and coo at us, observe his sister, giggle when tickled and show us his cute smile many times throughout the day. He absolutely LOVES to be held, so when the day comes to be with grandparents, he'll be in heaven. :). We love our boy and feel SO blessed! I love him too and think he is so precious! Fort Portal, Uganda.

Sunday, October 26, 2008. My FAVORITE time of year! I love, love, love the fall season! It is so beautiful with all of the leaves changing color, the big fields with all the bright orange pumpkins, and the cool crisp air! It is always exciting to me to wear hats and scarves too! I am so thankful I live in a climate where the weather changes and we have four different seasons,I don't know if I could handle somewhere where that does not happen! It wasn't all it was cracked up to be! We had a lot of fun!
The Nanny Diaries: The Tale of Four Beds and a Million Mosquitos..
http://amandaraeevans.blogspot.com/2009/01/tale-of-four-beds-and-million-mosquitos.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. The Tale of Four Beds and a Million Mosquitos. It has now been 3 days since Evan was born and I have had some time to think about the events of Friday as I was "laboring" with my sister. It was strange for me to know that my sister was going to be giving birth only 16 months after having Anaiah, and that she was going to be doing it in Uganda! The bed was rather uncomfortable for Aimee and it creeked very loudly anytime any of us sat on it! So we just used hand sanitizer! It was...

Wednesday, July 15, 2009. This is me - right now! There is no better way to say it, share it, word it. This is me - spinning, spiraling and moving in and out of . The transition from school to work;. Change, passage, move, transformation, conversion, metamorphosis, alteration, handover, changeover; segue, shift, switch, jump, leap, progression; progress, development, evolution, flux. How I Beat the Comparison Game. I’m sure we’ve all come across the article(s) about the dangers of comparing ourselves with others, and the posts showing “real life” behind the perfect pictures. It’s always a. Feel-good read, and I’m reminded not to compare myself to the 100lb blogger with 5 kids and a six pack, but I inevitably fall back into the vicious cycle again of measuring myself to others.
