Take a walk with us as Kelsey grows.....
Kelsey's World: SeaWorld
http://kelseysummer.blogspot.com/2010/04/seaworld.html
Take a walk with us as Kelsey grows. Sunday, April 18, 2010. Lou had a dinner program in Orlando he needed to be at on a Saturday night, so we decided to take advantage of it (and of him being with us on a Saturday) and go up and spend the morning/afternoon at SeaWorld. Body wouldn't have been able to handle much more. We saw the dolphins playing around from up above (skipped the long line to feed them) and then went to watch them from below as well (I think this was K's favorite part). We saw the sharks...
Kelsey's World: Super Happy
http://kelseysummer.blogspot.com/2010/05/super-happy.html
Take a walk with us as Kelsey grows. Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Kelsey just put her hands in the shape of a heart (well as close to making a heart as she could), she then leaned into me and placed her heart shaped hands on my chest. She looked up at me and asked "Do I make your heart super happy? I told her yes you make my heart happy. She said "No, do I make your heart SUPER Happy? Yes princess, you make mommy's heart SUPER happy. How do you not just love that? Posted by Lori Beth. Subscribe to my Blog.
Kelsey's World: To the Zoo...
http://kelseysummer.blogspot.com/2010/04/to-zoo.html
Take a walk with us as Kelsey grows. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. On our way up to see the giraffes we saw 3 rhinos (they are usually hiding, but were right near the platform. We also saw the cheetahs (which is the new exhibit). We went to feed the giraffes and unfortunately after I bought the crackers they wouldn't come anywhere near the feeding platform.oh well! Kelsey's World: Springtime Berry Planting..
http://kelseysummer.blogspot.com/2010/03/springtime-berry-planting.html
Take a walk with us as Kelsey grows. Saturday, March 20, 2010. Last year we planted strawberries and Kelsey loved being able to pick them and wash them. So this year we decided to plant them again AND we planted raspberries and blueberries. Kelsey saw the blueberry container when we were at Lowe's and asked to plant them as well. The only thing I didn't realize until we got home is that blueberries need 2 plants for cross pollination, so we'll have to go pick up a second one.). Posted by Lori Beth. I'm a...

The Adventures of Sophie Tschudin: July 2009
http://sophietschudin.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Sophie Tschudin. Friday, July 24, 2009. Has it been a week already? Week 1 is over and it has been just wonderful! A co-worker of mine gave me this idea. The picture below is Sophie with the teddy bear that her Nanny (my mom) and Granny (John's mom) bought her in the hospital. We plan to take a picture of her with the bear each month to show how much she is growing! It will be a cute collection at the end of a year! As you can see, the bear will certainly take some growing in to.
The Adventures of Sophie Tschudin: Time to eat!!!!
http://sophietschudin.blogspot.com/2009/12/time-to-eat.html
The Adventures of Sophie Tschudin. Sunday, December 13, 2009. We gave Sophie some rice cereal. For the first time this weekend. We did not know what to expect and had planned to wait until she was 6 months old. In the end, we thought it would be a good idea to get started if she was receptive because she starts day care in January. We are going to start slow but she really seemed to like it, and we can't wait to try other things. We are having a blast with this! December 14, 2009 at 12:53 PM.
The Adventures of Sophie Tschudin: January 2010
http://sophietschudin.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Sophie Tschudin. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Look who is sitting up! Look who is sitting up all by herself! Still only in soft places because after 5, 10, or even 20 minutes she will fall over! She was sitting on the couch playing the other night and look who crawled in her lap (literally)! She loved it and proceeded to tug on ears and tails for a few minutes. Saturday, January 16, 2010. 6 months old already! Sophie is now 6 months old! Update on Jan 22. Weight - 17lbs 6 oz. Today we s...

The Kelly's Korner: Family Cradle
http://kellysklassroomkorner.blogspot.com/2009/07/family-cradle.html
Sunday, July 12, 2009. Many years ago, my great-great grandfather, James B. Brennan built a cradle for his children to sleep in. I'm not sure that he knew when he built this cradle how special it would become in the lives of his progeny. The first child to sleep in this cradle was my great grandfather, James Sands Brennan. He was followed by his siblings, Marian, Harold and William. The fourth generation of children to sleep in this cradle were: the children of Gene and Diana McDonald - Cindy (that's me!

The Kelly's Korner: May 2009
http://kellysklassroomkorner.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 09, 2009. Motherhood and the Chalice. MOTHERHOOD AND THE CHALICE. A good mother’s life is like a chalice. It is a precious vessel dedicated in the deepest. Sense to the service of God. Sometimes, as with the chalice,. Its depths are glowing with the wine of joy. And sometimes it feels the tiny splash of a few drops. Of water that fall into it like tears. Like a chalice, too, sometimes it is lifted up. And sometimes brought low. But always it is sanctified by the Presence,. PRAYER TO ST ANNE.

The Kelly's Korner: April 2009
http://kellysklassroomkorner.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 07, 2009. Today we began working with Benjamin's Box in anticipation of Easter. The book really held the boys' attention, which was nice. I liked how it told the story of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday all the way through to his resurrection from the grave - all from the perspective of a little boy. I think that helped Brian and Sean connect with the story. Finally, we made our own treasure box, just like Benjamin. We started off cutting some "straw" to line the ...

The Kelly's Korner: October 2008
http://kellysklassroomkorner.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2008. I swear, I'm not a bad mom, really! As you can see, we have a little refrigerator outside on the patio by the pool. We keep sodas, water, juice boxes and yes, Chris' beer out there. The weather was so lovely the other day that the boys and I took our lunch outside. After lunch I took our plates inside and came back out to this:. No, he's not really drinking the Guiness! I think I'm scared to let Colin go off to college.can you say Harvard Homeschool? Chronicles of a Poor College Equestrian
Thursday, October 23, 2014. I don't remember the moment when I knew I wanted a German Shepherd, but I do know that it wasn't something I had thought about forever. In fact, when my roommate during my senior year of college came home with a dog (we had a no pet lease) I specifically remember thinking, "wow, what a terrible idea.". Posted by Kelsey Sullivan.
