IMAGINARY WARDROBE: Voodoo Doll
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2008/08/voodoo-doll.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. My brother wanted me to post the voodoo doll I made, so here it is. It's based on a picture of a crocheted voodoo doll I saw somewhere in the Internet, and made ( once. By horribly abusing the sweet bear pattern. You could use it as a pin cushion, but I feel a bit icky about sticking pins in it. Since I made it, there is a good chance it's full of. IMAGINARY WARDROBE: in July
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015/07/in-july.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. I feel like there were about two days it didn’t. Our fridge broke and we got a new one, and a new freezer, too. We got a Moccamaster, it really is very good. Mmm, coffee. I travelled to Cambridge. Got a 20 000 step day on Fitbit, 19 634, gah! I did get 2048 on 2048. Jake spend a week at a meet-up playing old Nintendo games and caught a cold. I binge watched The Honourable Woman in two days. We had our fences taken down, hopefully they’ll be replaced, too. View my complete profile.

IMAGINARY WARDROBE: Thrift Finds: another owl
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015/07/thrift-finds-another-owl.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Thrift Finds: another owl. Sorry for the dark pictures, but I wanted to get started straight away. I found another owl thrifting, for 3€. I hope this time we can all agree that this one is ugly. And that, unlike last time. I’m right wanting to paint it. And if you disagree, well, too late! Because I already painted it! What do you think? I love all the little details that were hiding under that multi-colored paint. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. No Pl...

IMAGINARY WARDROBE: Sauna clothes line
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015/08/sauna-clothes-line.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. I love sauna. But. It’s basically a whole room you use once or twice a week, and the rest of the time it just sits there, empty. So, the last time my parents visited my father installed this clothes line. The white contraption on the left houses the bar with the lines on it when it’s not in use, and then when you want to use it you pull it out and attach it to the hooks on the right. IMAGINARY WARDROBE: June 2015
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 28, 2015. One good thing about this constant rain: there are blooms everywhere. Every yard seems to have at least one lilac bush, some have a whole hedge. They are mostly these pale purple ones, my favorite. But we have this dark purple one. It’s pretty, too. There are a few white ones as well. I used to think lilacs were a bit granny-ish, but nope, they are beautiful. Links to this post. Monday, June 22, 2015. New Pots and Pans. Isn’t that exciting! Ha-ha But it is very exciting for me.

IMAGINARY WARDROBE: April 2015
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. I raked the backyard. Yep Feels like such an accomplishment. I wish I’d taken a “before” picture, it was full of pinecones. That’s a huge pine at the back corner. But maybe this will serve as a “before” picture for later on, when I hopefully get more done to this. In addition to the pine there are just these two black(? Does this sound haphazard? Haha Clearly I’ve never owned a yard before! Well, I’m going to do something and then build on that next year! Links to this post. Sorry...

IMAGINARY WARDROBE: September 2014
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 25, 2014. Cushion Cover from a Flannel Shirt. Here’s an easy autumn decor idea: flannel cushion covers from old button-up shirts. All you need is an old shirt, scissors, and a sewing machine (or thread and a needle). Firstly, you will need a men's flannel shirt. Men's, because they are usually larger (the larger the better) and won’t have those dart things to shape them. Mine is from the thrift store. There was an offer for 3 shirts for 1€. Links to this post. An ombre grey one. There ...

IMAGINARY WARDROBE: We went to Cambridge!
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015/07/we-went-to-cambridge.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. We went to Cambridge! This is just a big photo dump, mostly of buildings. All taken by my phone, so don’t expect any amazing images. But first, a few thoughts on the trip. We stayed in an apartment, which I prefer over hotels. It’s nice to wake up when you want to, make coffee and have breakfast in your pyjamas. Just like at home! Haha But really it is nice. Also you can do laundry. I think the best start to a stay in a new place is to… take the sightseeing bus! The only things I...

IMAGINARY WARDROBE: What I’ve been reading
http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2015/08/what-ive-been-reading.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. What I’ve been reading. Ehem, so the monthly reading lists aren’t obviously happening. So, here are the books I’ve read since, er, March. I think. Because I might have read something else, too. But let’s just go with these. The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right. Very interesting. As someone who has a very scattered brain and relies on lists a lot, this made a lot of sense. Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End. Amy Poehler: Yes Please. Chris Baty: No Plot?
