Anything under the sun. Do the right thing. In the past few days, I came across two people who said the same thing: "Do also get scolded, don't do also get scolded." While I empathised their thinking, I did not agree with them. Personally, I believe in doing the right thing. It was going to be 2015 soon and the nearby park had a massive celebration to welcome the new year. Before that, I wanted to fuel up and the best supper had to be kway chap. It was a 30 minute queue but totally worth it.

Anything under the sun. Thank You and Farewell. It was WH's birthday and to reminiscence the time we spent in Portugal, we decided to treat him to Boca. Octopus salad with red onions, capsicums, cilantro, extra virgin olive oil and vinegar. Well presented but let down by the mushy octopus). Codfish with potato, onion and parsley fritters. Good texture but pricey). Chorizo flamed grilled in brandy. Not the way I like my cod fish). Sweet with a tinge of cinnamon, the way I remembered). Chew on it comics.

Anything under the sun. After reading so many reviews on this restaurant, I finally had the chance to try it out. Located near Mayflower Primary School and at the void deck of a HDB block, this restaurant was not difficult to find. Upon stepping into the eatery, we saw roughly only seven tables. Thankfully it wasn't crowded that afternoon or we would have to wait. The menu wasn't extensive as well, just keeping it to simple, good dishes. Handmade noodle with braised pork ribs and minced chicken cubes.

After the festive eating and drinking, the last day of the year was also a time for me to reflect on my accomplishment in 2013.
