Welcome to Bredon Forest School. Based on an idea that originated in Scandinavia, using the outdoors as a learning environment. Provides exactly that learning environment in a safe, outdoor 'classroom', located in a secluded private woodland only two miles from Bredon. Hide and seek, den building, picture making, bug hunting, collecting and sorting, singing, listening, observing growth and decay, noting changes in seasons, leaf printing, tree rubbing and many more. Wednesday morning sessions now finished.

This form needs to be completed by all adults and children attending the woodland as individuals. The forms are kept by the forest school leader at all times. Any changes in medical conditions must be notified immediately. Groups attending on a one off visit must fill out a register. As well as providing an outdoor learning environment for younger children, we also teach a range of woodcraft skills. These include shelter building, making string from natural materials such as nettle and bramble, making fire using a range of techniques including friction and striking, and simple woodland cooking.
