Five": Alaska, The 5th Year. Saturday, October 13, 2012. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. But we got some good fall color! And good thing, cuz, it all got blown off in the wind the next day! The last one was of a hostile local who apparently was apprehensive about having her picture taken. You cant tell, but the wind was blowing pretty hard. I thought it was fitting! Five": Alaska, The 5th Year. Sunday, September 2, 2012. Venting: The Healthy Alternative! This bees nest is the size of a beach ball high in a birch tree! Ironic that we show a bee's nest for this post. It will be 20 years this fall that I revolted against ‘the man’, and started a new life of self endeavor and self employment. 20 years of success and happiness, doing my own gig, and taking the 125% I give to my customers, for myself! 8221; Next, I took of my standard issue apron, walked upstairs, clocked...

Transition Kitchen: September 2013
http://transitionkitchen.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
This blog is about my kitchen. Well, not usually. Monday, September 30, 2013. For better or for worse. Yeah, so when I said it was a 12 hour drive yesterday. I understated this undertaking big time. More like 2.5 day to 3 day expedition involving driving an oversized, crikkity old van from middle of nowhere Morocco to a ferry to Spain to then drive through Spain to France and finally arrive at his parent's house near Belfort, France. WORSE! Sabine and Grandpere on his DIY swing in the house in Morocco.

This blog is about my kitchen. Well, not usually. Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Dec(no) Jan. (no) Feb (no). and yes, finally March brings a new blog entry! Handmade gown from Morocco. I CANNOT believe I have not done one single entry since (gasp! You know how they say time speeds up as you get older? Well, I must be pretty damn ancient since that much time has passed without feeling either the urge to blog or the guilt to blog. (Two sides to the same coin). Here are some pics of the growing girls:. Yesterday...

Transition Kitchen: New home!
http://transitionkitchen.blogspot.com/2015/08/new-home.html
This blog is about my kitchen. Well, not usually. Friday, August 7, 2015. Wow, what a year it has been. Incredibly i have not updated this blog is a very long time. but for a somewhat excusable reason: we moved. It was a long journey as you may know. For more than 3-4 years, we visited apts and houses off and on - and none of them suited us! But in the last nearly 2 years, our search picked up in pace and the urgency rather grew.so, instead of blogging, I was on the housing prowl! A little bit About Me.

Transition Kitchen: October 2012
http://transitionkitchen.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
This blog is about my kitchen. Well, not usually. Monday, October 29, 2012. Just like starting over! I wrote the following entry a couple of weeks ago and have occasionally come back to it for editing and finishing. Ah the life with a busy toddler and a tiny baby! Well, it is true, my screen time has diminished vastly since I used to sit at the computer during naps. Well, now when everyone is napping, I try to as well. Well, at least the pictures are current! 6 weeks old already! As I think things have s...

Five": Alaska, The 5th Year. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Looking Forward. And Wisconsin. The caribou herd has been on the move through the area. I was fortunate enough to run into a few the past couple of weeks! And what happened next? We bought 4 chickens! Only issue is, Maryann and I have somehow taken full proprietorship on the project! Guess who will be buying their eggs from us. We converted a small portion of our large greenhouse into an enclosed indoor coop and made a small door leading out into a...

Thing is, Leonora woke up as she likes to do. So, I went in to breast feed her and meanwhile I fell asleep. Yeah, I watched romcom movie trailers on youtube and then read all about "Where are they now celebrities? I know I shouldn't feel guilty about it but the thing is, I do. Okay, this is real time blogging here folks.
