Monday, January 9, 2012. This Christmas, Ken's Mom wanted to do something to really bring the Spirit of Christ into the season! She has a friend that told her about a family tradition they have that they call Christmas in Bethlehem. So, we gave it a try; it turned out wonderful! Then we all dressed up in bath robes and sheets to get into character! Penny prepared all sorts of near-as-could-be-authentic foods. We had all sorts of breads: bagels, pita bread, Inn bread, pita chips, apple struesel bread.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Tyler and a Trip. We had so much going on the end of August. The most wonderful, and emotional, was seeing my youngest brother off on his mission! Tyler is just. good! He's such a good person! We love him so much and really miss him! He's so caring, considerate, and generous! So strong, humble and kind! The missionary spirit is very unique; powerful and exciting! I am so glad I was able to be part of it! All too soon, came the day we sent him off! Elder Anderson and Elder Croft.
