Sunday, September 18, 2011. Day 10 - Adjusting Well. We've settled into a routine at home with Kendal. She's becoming more mobile day by day and beginning to get involved with activities. She is enjoying short stints video editing, texting or talking with friends on Facebook. We're starting to have visitors stop by for short periods too. Administering meds around the clock is a big challenge but we're adjusting to it. Overall, very happy with how everything is going! Posted by Duane Cheney. Day 2 - In ICU.

She started short walks in the neighborhood and backing down on the meds (about 1/2 compared to her first day at home). Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Day 5 - Watched the Sunrise. Kendal and I walked toward the bright sunrise this morning at 6:45. She's taking routine walks down the hall and around the corner (about 50 feet). Yes Uncle Dave, lots of precaution and guards around her :) She had a good night sleep too, about 9 hours with only waking up twice for meds and bathroom. She's sleeping again now.
