The Wonderful World of Lindsay: April 2008
http://pineapplelindsay.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
The Wonderful World of Lindsay. Wednesday, April 02, 2008. Well, my trip to Thailand was fantastic. I'm kind of wishing that I had enough money to make it a yearly excursion, (someday) but back to reality. Unlike Emma and Meghan (my friends from Taiwan) I didn't have a direct flight to Bangkok, so my first stop was Korea. From my 4 hour stay in the airport it seems as if South Korea is very Japanese friendly. Everyone was speaking Japanese, so when I order. The street we were staying on called Khau S.

Well 2 weeks ago I went on an adventure to the volcanic mountain about an hours drive from where I live called Noboribetsu, it's right beside Lake Shikotsu-ko where I went in my last post. My friend Dyane is leaving Japan in about a weeks time and we wanted to go to an Onsen for her going away party. [An 'Onsen' is a large bathing house with natural hot spring ho. Next we checked out a. Japanese temple and I tried to properly go by Japanese eti...

http://pineapplelindsay.blogspot.com/2008/09/undokai-and-furano-wine-festival.html
The Wonderful World of Lindsay. Friday, September 26, 2008. Undokai and The Furano Wine Festival. Well this past month I've experienced a n. H and laugh maniacally throughout it which really should add to my Japanese Christmas experience. Makomai in one piece. Yes, I'm old. But the entertainment was great. First they had these silly Japanese people dressed up in their idea of traditional Italian gard for the stepping on the grapes ceremony. Rea. Lly they looked like bad stereotrypes of maybe Germans?

The Wonderful World of Lindsay: June 2008
http://pineapplelindsay.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
The Wonderful World of Lindsay. Saturday, June 07, 2008. T of the kindergarten philosophy here in Japan. This is the complete opposite of my experience in Taiwan, where the only time the children played outside was for photo opts where it looked like they were allowed to play outside but really they were just placed there. Japanese may be maticulous about being clean but that doesn't mean they don't like to be outside and play. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Wonderful World of Lindsay: May 2008
http://pineapplelindsay.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
The Wonderful World of Lindsay. Monday, May 05, 2008. Find my size. After hours of looking I finally found a nice pair of levis for a very cheap price. The picture above is of a rickshaw. This is the tourists choice of transportation here in Japan. A little pricey, but traditional and cute. You only find these in the major cities like Kyoto, Tokyo, etc. The local people would never use them to get around. But wish me luck this week. We'll see if I can figure this mouse deal out myself.

The Wonderful World of Lindsay: Hakodate
http://pineapplelindsay.blogspot.com/2009/01/hakodate.html
The Wonderful World of Lindsay. Friday, January 02, 2009. Obviously. So Hakodate is an interesting city to visit for its history and old colonial style buildings. The draw back to my holiday however was that it snowed like CRAZY, like it did in Canada this past Christmas season. So it was not only a mini holiday but also somewhat of an adventure. G on the number) but anyhoo they hit it a lot to chase off the bad luck from the past year and welcome the new year. It's kind of like us hitt.
