Cu(OH)2(s) - CuO(s) H2O(l). Kendal continues to show accuracy when filling the newly made mixture with the correct amount of distilled water. Adding heat to this mixture in the end resulted in turning black! Rina is sure to continuously stir the mixture while it is in the hotplate, another example of this groups awesome accuracy :). Cu(NO3)2(aq) 2NaOH(aq) - Cu(OH)2(s) 2NaNO3(aq). Kathleen also measures at eye level to get the most accurate measurement of NaOH to add to our mixture. We knew we had been accurate with our amounts of NaOH and HCl because our pH is at 7! After our mixture was right, we added Na3PO4 and began to heat it up to get ready for filtering!
