happiness is a journey, not a destination

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. August has started with a most wonderful visit from my sister Amy and her 3 kids! Still waking up while watching cartoons. Being an Auntie is one of the greatest gifts :). Having fun with Momma! After our adventures at the pool we went out for a special treat at Orange Leaf. There were about 20 different flavors of frozen yogurt and all the toppings you could imagine. It was so yummy! On a freezing day in February I came to Lexington for less than 24 hours to fi...

happiness is a journey, not a destination: 15 months...Gone In A Moment

http://kendrahartley.blogspot.com/2009/12/15-monthsgone-in-moment.html

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. 15 months.Gone In A Moment. Yesterday the 2010 PA class completed 15 months of didactic learning. I can't believe this moment is already here. There have been sleepless nights, tears, laughter, frustrations, victories. When you are in the middle of something as intense as this it is very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even last week amidst the didactic summative. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

happiness is a journey, not a destination: My Biggest Adventure Yet

http://kendrahartley.blogspot.com/2011/03/my-biggest-adventure-yet.html

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. My Biggest Adventure Yet. Why on earth would I make such a move you might ask. I would have to say that God made it pretty clear that this was the next step He had planned for me. I applied to several neonatal jobs and actually interviewed for a full-time position in Philadelphia only to be turned down. I was also pursued by a hospital in New Mexico only to be told that hiring was on hold.twice! So how am I feeling this first week of the biggest adventure yet?

happiness is a journey, not a destination: June 2011

http://kendrahartley.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. On a freezing day in February I came to Lexington for less than 24 hours to find a place to live. It was completely overwhelming and I started to second guess my decision to move here, but the moment I drove through the complex I was at complete peace and knew this would be my home for the next year. Laundry Room.with full size washer/dryer! Bedroom.still needs some decorating (and a man with some power tools to hang the curtains.haha! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://kendrahartley.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Kristin very nicely reminded me today that I had not updated my blog since going to St. Louis to see my girls. So here are some pictures from the short week that I spent there. I had a great time and it was really good to see Amy and Brian and relax with them. Enjoy the pics! This was the greeting I got my first morning in St. Louis. She's so adorable! Cora saying hi to Disa. Disa chillin on her auntie's lap.how cute! Cora loves her Auntie :).

happiness is a journey, not a destination: April 2011

http://kendrahartley.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So my first visitors to my new home in Lexington were Kristin and Josiah. They were able to come for 4 days last week and it was so wonderful to see them! Josiah has been teething lately, but he was quite happy most of the time and Kristin was a huge blessing by helping me finish setting thing up in my apartment. Without her I would have never hung curtains in my bedroom or put pictures in the living room. She's the best! Cheesin it for the camera :).

A relaying of the daily comings and goings of the Tiemeier Family. I turned 30 on August 20th. Although there were some special events that day, I enjoyed various celebrations over a couple of weeks! This is the birthday bouquet that my parents sent me. The cookies were absolutely amazing! We had our night away the first weekend in September. We stayed at a Drury Inn just a few miles away and had a great time! All in all, it was a fabulous celebration of turning the big 3-0! On the week of August 18th, t...

A relaying of the daily comings and goings of the Tiemeier Family. Travel Day and Christmas Continued. The day after Christmas, we headed up to Brian's parents to continue the Christmas celebrations. The weather was unseasonably warm for December and there was some amazing fog on our trip up to Chicago. This was the view out of the passenger window. The view out the front windshield. It got even worse at points as we were driving. We could barely see more than a car length in front of us!

A relaying of the daily comings and goings of the Tiemeier Family. There has been a lot of snow in Chicago this year thus far but the warm spell melted most of it before we got there for Christmas. However, this didn't stop Papa Tiemeier and the girls from scavenging what they could to make a snowman. A bundled up Disa watching the building in progress. The finished product complete with berry eyes and a stick nose. Just for size comparison, the snowman next to Cora's shoe. Follow me on Twitter.
