Friday, January 22, 2010. Mountains and Valleys of Life AFTER Cancer. So the past week or so, it's been a little stressful, emotional, and one of giving praise and thanks to God! It was a resource that I could use and well, I did! I only took out a small amount to pay off that bill. I felt relieved and could breathe easy. HAVE YOUR ANNUAL PAP! Sunday, August 22, 2010. All I needed was a Reminder. Or those who read this blog. I haven't been keeping up with this blog quite as often. I guess the " storm " of my life has passed on and I'm just living life! But I do have to say it was awesome storm! I love a good storm (in nature) with the rumbling and lightening. The reason I say it was an awesome storm is that it woke me up! I guess if you are at a "wait and see" stage, might as well try! As for me, I've finally gotten my photography website.

Thursday, May 28, 2009. Well, I guess this is just part of it: screening NEW territory! Having had cancer at a young age and a family history of breast cancer, my oncologist thought it would be best to get a mammogram done. I guess I'm "at risk" for getting other cancers since I already had cancer! So with that being said,I had my 1st ever base-line mammogram done this morning. What a cinch! Or should I pinch! I wasn't nervous ,just something to check off on my to-do list! The Colondar's, March model.

Monday, June 01, 2009. This weekend I attended the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. It was their 25th birthday! How awesome is that! Of all the many happenings going on at Relay, the Lumanaria Ceremony is a very poignant time. It gives you time to remember those who lost were lost, those who are in the midst of their journey and those who are living. Wouldn't it be neat to have a colored bag to signify that! The bands on my arms represent my journey. They are my hospital bands, my blood bands and surgery bands. I have my elbows resting on my knees,with my hands folded in a praying position. It's usually unlikely for them to hit our city and it was is a busy area and did little damage. We got pea size hail at our house and it poured rain! We use to call her Houdini, cause she could get out of her kennel, her tie out anchor, and squeeze under fences! This got her into "trouble" and produced many puppies! Hey since you catch up with me on my cancer journey , I decided to create a new blog to let you in on whats going with the family, mostly the kids and how they are getting so big! Just today while waiting for the bus they were measuring how tall they came up to my short,small , framed body!
