Enjoy the Journey: October 2008
http://shawnrondaparryfamily.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
With all life's up and downs what else can you do? Wednesday, October 22, 2008. After the drama of the kids parade we decided. We'd had enough of Peach Days. We decided instead to go to Mantua. Reservoir and take the kids out in our little rubber raft. The water was really cold but we had a great time. The kids enjoying the beach after we went out in our boat. June and Brig having a picnic snack. Saturday, October 11, 2008. Almost A Face On A Milk Carton. We enjoyed the parade but then the trauma began.

There & Back Again: April 2012
http://bnbnkids.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
There and Back Again. The tale of our family adventures from today onward. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Last Sunday, Brian and I got out the bowls for breakfast. The rest was entirely Brian's idea. So we put two twinkies into each, put out a big bowl of candy, had various other sweets set on the table, and then called in the kids. Their eyes got big as we announced that "Today is candy day! You can eat as much candy as you want, whenever you want, and we won't tell you no! That's what I dreamed about!

CHEZ BIG J: Good Times at the Track
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2009/05/good-times-at-track.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Monday, May 18, 2009. Good Times at the Track. Inspired by Keith's phenomenal weekend performance. 1:37:16 half-marathon, y'all! I was about half way through my workout when a large truck towing a flatbed trailer pulled into the gate and lumbered toward the northern end of the track. As I rounded the bend I read the signature: Nature's Call. Wherever you "go.". If you think this post is even remotely funny, which I do not, you will enjoy this witty British film. That reminds ...

CHEZ BIG J: I Got Your Oedipus Complex Right Here
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2009/06/i-got-your-oedipus-complex-right-here.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Monday, June 29, 2009. I Got Your Oedipus Complex Right Here. Like most little girls, my daughters went through the princess stage. They would dress up in fluffy gowns, drench themselves in costume jewelry, don long white gloves, brush glitter on their cheeks and prance around the house speaking to me in a surprisingly accurate British accent. I dutifully fetched. Them tea and ladyfingers, tossed the rubbish. Perhaps because imagining princess characteristics in teens or adul...

Zola Rae Lunt: Fire and Ice
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2012/02/fire-and-ice.html
Tuesday, February 14, 2012. It's been a crazy winter weather-wise, and we've gone from warm desert fun to playing in the snow in just a couple of days. We headed down west of Santa Clara in SW Utah over the weekend with my dad. A gentle climb to the "Cave of Wonders". There are petroglyphs near Zola (she's a bully about reminding other kids not to touch them). They're so old they've re-patinated, making it hard to see them unless the light is right. Zola contemplates the Anasazi Sheep. Bump on a log.

CHEZ BIG J: November 2008
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Saturday, November 22, 2008. While listening to Slate Magazine Daily Podcast, I was tipped off to this article. In Salon magazine and it has me tickled to the point of giddy laughter. Feminists wholeheartedly supported the Obama/ Biden. Ticket (obviously Sarah Palin's. Her personal, professional, academic, civic and parenting lives impress me beyond words. She is indeed a woman of conviction and action and she has my utmost respect.). Success, in the words of Traister. To pla...

Zola Rae Lunt: January 2010
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 16, 2010. The Ruler of Rome. I believe Zola is staking her claim to the Roman Empire. There are worse people to emulate than Marcus Aurelius. I'm pretty sure the philosopher-king wore Mickey Mouse ears on occasion. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ruler of Rome. Conclusively Inconclusive (the T-Town to Boalsburg Pipeline). Zola Rae Lunt: February 2010
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 4, 2010. An original creation intended, so Zola said, to cheer up her old man. Zola now will only answer to "Maestro." I managed to convince the Maestro to perform an encore for the camera. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Conclusively Inconclusive (the T-Town to Boalsburg Pipeline). Evans (the good looking ones).
