Wednesday, July 1, 2009. After meeting with Kenny's oncologist yesterday, we have decided to stay in Charleston for the summer. Although we asked about getting chemotherapy in Maine. The doctor (a friend) expressed concern that if there are complications, he would be a lot more comfortable having us in Charleston. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Country roads, take me home. Kenny and I have spent a couple of days in Newburyport,. A charming little town that's possibly not quite as charming during the height of the tourist season. We've been at the Compass Rose Inn. And the innkeeper's mother (age 103) was one of the founders of the first mutual fund in the U.S. This morning we had a nice walk on Plum Island with it's long stretch of sandy beach. This afternoon we drove to the Lowell Boat Shop. Friday, June 12, 2009.
