Miss Kenley's Cleft Journey. July 22, 2013. I know that I haven't written in a couple of weeks but we have been super busy. Some wonderful things have happened lately in Kenley's journey! We were very happy about that because it will make surgery easier on her muscles there. Now for the most exciting milestone is that Kenley weighed a little over 10 pounds today! That is one of the minimum requirements for the first surgery. She is now steadily gaining weight and we couldn't be more relieved.

Miss Kenley's Cleft Journey. July 2, 2013. Today Kenley turned two months old so she had a checkup. We are very happy because she's growing so much and getting close to reaching her 10 pound goal! The downside to the appointment was that she had to get 4 immunizations. She did good and stopped crying when I picked her back up off of the table. Miss Kenley's Cleft Journey. September 25, 2013. Just a quick update on Kenley today! Kenley also went and saw her plastic surgeon on Tuesday. He removed the shunt that was in her nose, we are all relieved that it is gone! She weighed 14 pounds 8 ounces yesterday so she is gaining at a steady pace. Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers for us! This was Monday night in the hotel before the appointments, she loves to play with her feet! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
