He survived the first two days of walking, and one gym session, but the third walk through the steep hills of the Yealand countryside brought Leadbelly undone. Six miles in, he fell victim to recurrent thigh problems and had to be medevaced back to the manor. The arrival of Simon “Leadbelly” Lewis has shaken the Ludus to its core and the gladiatorial school is reeling.
