Saturday, January 7, 2012. The new year is 7 days old already and I haven't taken the time to really think about my goals for this new year. So here goes:. Figure out (or at least write down) things that bring me joy and DO THEM more often! I LOVE fireworks and they are FREE! Sometime,s they are so beautiful that they bring me to tears. At the very least I'm usually trying to restrain myself from jumping up and down. I really enjoy parades too (which are also FREE! I recently joined a gym and love going!

Monday, November 22, 2010. As I look back on the past year since LAST Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for! I am thankful for the family I was born into. When so many families are at odds with each other, my brothers and sisters and I (and our spouses) all genuinely enjoy each other! Rajczak Family parties are the best! I am so thankful for my five beautiful, healthy children! I am very thankful for my six grandchildren in whom I take such delight! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I enjoy reading ot...

Sunday, December 5, 2010. Every year our parish has a raffle surrounded by a huge Christmas party- St. Nick's Nite! The raffle has cash prizes (we've never won) and lots of baskets to raffle in the Chinese Auction. There are also "special" raffles - lottery trees and wreaths, gorgeous handmade quilts and more. Sammi and David went with us again this year. And Kathy brought William! Miss Lucy, the story lady, reads stories and has crafts for the kids to make. This year both David and I won baskets!

Sunday, August 8, 2010. While I was growing up, the Annual Corn Roast was a much loved tradition! Dad, Mom and the seven of us kids would pile into the station wagon ("I call the window! For the long (seeming endless) drive to Barker, New York to Uncle Al's Farm. The farm was a wonderful place! It was the only time we really got to see the relatives from Dad's side of the family. I was in awe of those cousins! My cousin Phil had a go cart that he actually let me drive! Wednesday, August 4, 2010. I enjoy ...

Thursday, July 7, 2011. Tuesday was a Livvie day and we decided to spend the day at Beaver Island. We packed up our cooler, grabbed chairs and a blanket and we were off! It was cloudy and very breezy there but we didn't mind. My nephew Danny met us there. Megan, Danny and Taylor took the kids in the water while Becky and I read on the beach. Olivia was a fish and was in the longest. The kids (and Taylor) played in the sand. We had a picnic lunch, lots of snacks and a great time! This was a great visit (w...

Thursday, July 7, 2011. The Proudfits came back from Canada on Saturday afternoon. We heard all about the Great Wolf Lodge and Marineland. John was working on putting a stone floor under the gazebo, trying to get it done. Lucy decided to help him. She spent most of the afternoon outside with Grandpa. He gave her her own little shovel to help dig and put gravel in. I spent the afternoon getting food ready to take to Colden the next day. Sunday we went to Colden and celebrated Weston and Jameson's birthdays.

Thursday, September 16, 2010. My Summer Journey of Faith. Everyone looks forward to summer, the sunshine and long, lazy days, family outings, picnics. My summer started in a most unexpected way - I started bleeding. I had gone through menopause in my 40s so I knew this was NOT good and certainly not normal. It was enough blood and clots to scare me right away so I did something very out of character for me - I called my doctor immediately! Promises of prayer and stories of faith flooded my inbox! The fol...

Random musings...: Rajczak Family Christmas 2011
http://maryrozak.blogspot.com/2011/12/rajczak-family-christmas-2011.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. Rajczak Family Christmas 2011. The annual Rajczak Family Christmas party is actually Christmas - Part 2 in my mind. This year it was hosted by Mike and Kelly Mayback. Their house looked like a Christmas wonderland! The delicious dinner (everyone brought something) was followed by the dessert buffet (courtesy of Kelly and Kathy). Then it was time for the gifts. The children, naturally, receive their gifts first. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Thursday, July 7, 2011. 9 days ago at 1:30AM, I was sitting out on my front steps when the rented car pulled up. Grandma Buffalo, you're not asleep" commented Jameson. Little Lucy shyly came up to me, eyes downward. "Hi Lucy" I said. "I'm Grandma Buffalo. Oh my goodness, you have pink toes! And pink shoes and pink pants and a pink bow and they match! Answered Lucy. I was in! Grandpa had to go to bed but promised that tomorrow they'd do it. And then we all headed to Andersons for dessert! It was a hot day...
