They were playing with a teakettle and cups. I was assuming they were serving each other hot chocolate. I went over and listened in. Come to find out they were enjoying "soy chai lattes! Wednesday, July 16, 2008. It is what it is. I had a doctor's visit with a specialist yesterday. I'm really feeling so much better, and so it was good to be at the doctor with no pressing and urgent problems. However, we talked about my care and the probability of me going off of blood thinners. When I was in the hospital, they told me I may have to be on them as little as three months, or a year, or perhaps indefinitely. I went to my visit yesterday feeling optimistic. Monday, February 23, 2009. I love you Grandma Joyce. I loved playing in my grandma's yard. She had a wonderful lilac garden. My grandma was such a wonderful grandma to me and her other 19 grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all heart, and brought so much good to the world. She wrote beautiful poems, and I'll share this one with you. God called her home. He had great need of her. To mend the angels wings of gossamer. To make St. Peter rest a little while. To drink a cup of tea, and learn to smile.

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. I just want to take a quick minute to tell my friends and family how incredibly lucky I am to have you in my life. I am truly blessed. Last night, I got a call from Corby saying that he had gotten in an accident at work. He slid off a roof while installing a dish and fell to the ground, slicing his head open and injuring his wrist and foot. Corby and my Grandpa are both doing better. I wish them both a quick recovery and I want to tell them that I love them with all my heart.
