Situated around 3 km south of the locality of Coolongolook on the Coolongolook River; Kennedys Farm has a long history. There is remnant Gondwana rainforest as evidenced by the red cabbage palms and cycads that dot the property, Coolongolook and are scattered through the State Forest. The original township of Telararee, founded by the AA Company is gone now. It was replaced by Coolongolook in the late 1880's. The land was used by AACo to graze cattle and sheep, and for timber getting and gold mining.
