Tuesday, April 12, 2011. I apologize for not having posted these sooner. We had two deaths in the family, so we've been making some unforeseen trips. View of living room. Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Thanks for checking in! We are currently in Texas, enjoying plenty of Mexican food, BBQ brisket, and Dr. Pepper! We had a great trip through West Texas last week and were happy to meet and talk with students at Lubbock Christian University. So begins the search for one or two people to come spend about 10 months with us. We are looking for college graduates with any degree, who enjoy being with children. I have set up another blog to keep and manage info. And am thinking of even posting the need on Craig’s List. We have historically contacted Christian universities to talk to their students, and sometimes the universities are helpful, but often not. If you have any good ideas as to how I can get the word out, please let me know.

One of the best ways to deal with the sacrifices one makes to live in Africa (being far away from family) is to make sure that we enjoy the blessings of living here.
