Ken's DC Tours. The most “efficient” way to see the sites, join me for a bike ride on safe bike paths from the Capital to the Lincoln Memorial, by way of the Tidal Basin and the Jefferson Memorial. From there, over to Virginia and a ride to the airplane viewing area of National Airport (planes on approach, 100 feet over our heads! And down to Old Town Alexandria. Take a 5K, 10K, or 10 mile run through a diverse set of areas: See all the main monuments and circle the Tidal Basin (Cherry Blossom trees and Jefferson Memorial). Or, run to Arlington Cemetery (some sections we will need to walk thru, rather than run) and then on to the Iwo Jima memorial. Longer runs to and thru the Zoo, too. Pace: 9:00 – 10:30 min/mile.
